Website design in Dubai is quoted anywhere from about AED 1,500 for a basic site to well over AED 100,000 for a custom platform. This guide lays out the published market ranges, what each tier usually includes, and how to compare the quotes on your desk.
We run a web studio in Dubai, and “how much does a website cost in Dubai?” is one of the first questions we hear from new clients. Instead of answering with our own numbers, this page collects what other Dubai agencies publish on their pricing pages and guides. That way you can see the whole market and judge any quote against it, ours included.
The short answer
Published Dubai guides put a basic or brochure website between AED 1,500 and AED 15,000. Most put a business or corporate website between AED 15,000 and AED 55,000, although Element8 starts its corporate band at AED 6,000. E-commerce stores run from about AED 10,000 to AED 110,000 or more, and custom portals start around AED 25,000 to AED 50,000 and go past AED 150,000. Domain, hosting and maintenance are usually billed on top.
Dubai Monsters puts the average for a professional business website in 2026 at around AED 8,000 to AED 25,000.
Website design cost in Dubai: published market ranges
Market ranges compiled from published agency pricing pages and guides (October 2026) — not frex.digital’s prices.
| Website type | Published ranges (AED, one-off build) | Scope the sources describe |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | 2,000–4,500 (Dubai Monsters); 3,000–7,000 for a basic or landing page site (RedBerries) | One page built for a launch, campaign or single offer |
| Basic or brochure site | 1,500–6,000 (Element8); 3,500–8,000 (Dubai Monsters); 5,000–15,000 (RedSpider) | A handful of pages (home, about, services, contact), often template-based, standard contact form |
| Small business or CMS site | 4,000–10,000 (Element8); 8,000–15,000 (RedBerries); 8,000–18,000 (Dubai Monsters) | CMS set-up, blog, individual service pages, lead forms; Dubai Monsters describes up to 20 pages |
| Business or corporate site | 6,000–25,000+ (Element8); 15,000–30,000 (RedSpider); 15,000–45,000 (RedBerries); 15,000–55,000 for up to about 75 pages (Dubai Monsters) | Custom interface design, more page templates, more stakeholders and approval rounds, often English and Arabic |
| E-commerce store | 10,000–50,000+ (Element8); 15,000–110,000+ (Dubai Monsters); 20,000–80,000+ (RedBerries); 25,000–50,000+ (RedSpider) | Product and category set-up, cart, checkout, payment gateway, shipping rules, customer accounts |
| Custom portal or platform | 25,000–100,000+ (Element8); 50,000–145,000+ (Dubai Monsters); 50,000–150,000+ (RedSpider); 100,000+ for enterprise systems (RedBerries) | Booking systems, member portals, dashboards, user roles, custom back-end logic |
The sources overlap but do not agree. Element8’s basic tier tops out at AED 6,000, while RedSpider’s basic tier starts at AED 5,000 and runs to AED 15,000. That gap comes from different definitions of “basic” and different agency positioning, not from one of them being wrong. Use the table as a map of the market rather than a price list.
Running costs most quotes leave out
RedSpider’s guide notes that domain, hosting, SSL, paid plugins and third-party software are usually billed separately from the development fee. These are the figures it publishes for those items.

| Item | Published range (AED) | Source |
|---|---|---|
| .ae domain | 120–300 per year | RedSpider |
| Hosting plan | 300–3,000 per year | RedSpider |
| SSL certificate | 250–500 per year | RedSpider |
| Basic maintenance (updates) | 300–500 per month | RedSpider |
| Full support (content and technical) | 1,000–2,000 per month | RedSpider |
| Arabic translation | 500–2,000 | RedSpider |
| Photography | 2,000–6,000 | RedSpider |
Ask whether SSL comes with the hosting plan, and whether a maintenance contract is quoted monthly or as an annual maintenance contract (AMC).
What each tier typically includes
Basic or brochure site
A simple responsive layout, a limited number of pages, a standard contact form and straightforward navigation. Element8 points out that this level gives you credibility but may not be enough for a business that relies on SEO, lead generation or strong brand differentiation.
Business or corporate site
Custom or semi-custom page templates on a CMS, a blog, separate service pages, lead-generation forms and a clearer content structure. Corporate builds add custom interface design, user-journey planning and more revision rounds, because more people sign off on the result.
E-commerce store
Category and product set-up, cart and checkout, payment gateway integration, shipping logic, customer accounts, store admin configuration and testing of every transaction flow. A small catalogue sits near the low end. A bilingual store with advanced filters and integrations moves much higher.
Custom portal or platform
Front-end and back-end development, user roles and permissions, dashboards, workflows and extensive QA. Element8 says these projects need proper discovery before any useful pricing conversation can happen, and we agree: a fixed price for a portal quoted from one phone call is a guess.
What drives website design cost in Dubai
- Unique page layouts, not page count. Element8 notes that ten simple pages can be easier to build than four highly customised pages. Ask how many distinct templates are being designed.
- UX depth. Research, wireframes and prototypes before any visual design. Element8 says cheaper quotes usually compress or skip these stages, and calls that the biggest hidden difference between an AED 3,000 design and an AED 20,000 one.
- Custom-coded versus template. A purchased theme is faster and cheaper to launch. A custom-coded website costs more upfront and gives you full control over speed, structure and design.
- English and Arabic. A proper Arabic version needs a right-to-left layout with mirrored navigation, buttons and forms, not translated text dropped into a left-to-right template. Translation or Arabic copywriting is a cost of its own.
- Integrations and payment gateways. Booking systems, CRM or ERP connections, live chat, WhatsApp and payment gateways all add development and testing time.
- Content. Whether the quote includes professional copywriting, photography and video. If you need new visuals, our content production team can shoot them alongside the build.
- Support after launch. Updates, backups, security patches and small content changes. Cheap builds often become expensive here.
Clinics have extra requirements, such as doctor profiles, licence details and appointment booking. We cover those in our guide to medical website design in Dubai.
Red flags in very cheap website offers
- A fixed low price given before anyone asks about your pages, languages or integrations.
- The domain, hosting account or website admin registered in the agency’s name instead of yours.
- “Arabic included” that turns out to be machine translation in a left-to-right layout.
- No discovery or wireframe stage, with design starting from a theme demo and your logo swapped in.
- “Free” hosting that only lasts while you keep paying the agency, with no clear way to move the site.
- No mention of page speed, mobile testing, analytics or basic on-page SEO.
- Unlimited pages or unlimited revisions, which usually means the scope has not been thought through.
Questions to ask before you sign
- How many unique page templates will you design, and how many pages will you build?
- Is the design custom, or based on a purchased theme?
- Is the Arabic version included, who writes or translates it, and will it use a true right-to-left layout?
- Which integrations are in scope: payment gateway, booking, CRM, WhatsApp?
- Who writes the copy, and who supplies photos and video?
- What SEO set-up is included at launch, such as redirects from the old site, metadata, schema and a sitemap?
- Who will own the domain, hosting account, code and design files?
- What does support cost after launch, and what does it cover?
- Does the quote include VAT?
- How many revision rounds are included, and what is the timeline?
How to compare website quotes
Put each quote into a simple table with the same rows: unique templates, total pages, languages, integrations, content, SEO set-up, hosting for year one, months of support and ownership. Then add twelve months of running costs to the build price. A cheaper build with expensive, locked-in hosting can cost more over a year than a higher build fee with hosting in your own name.
If two quotes still look far apart, ask each agency what the other one included that they did not. The answer usually shows which agency has actually scoped your project. Remember that SEO beyond the basics is normally a separate monthly service; our SEO cost guide for Dubai covers those ranges.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost in Dubai?
Published Dubai guides put a basic website at roughly AED 1,500 to AED 15,000 and a business or corporate website mostly between AED 15,000 and AED 55,000. Dubai Monsters gives an average of about AED 8,000 to AED 25,000 for a professional business site in 2026. Hosting, domain and maintenance are usually extra.
How much does e-commerce website development cost in Dubai?
Published ranges start at about AED 10,000 for a small store and run past AED 110,000 for large or highly customised builds. Catalogue size, payment and shipping integrations, and whether the store is bilingual move the price most.
Does an Arabic version increase the website price?
Usually, yes. A proper Arabic version needs a right-to-left layout as well as translation or Arabic copywriting. RedSpider lists Arabic translation alone at AED 500 to AED 2,000, and the layout and testing work comes on top of that.
Are hosting and maintenance included in a website quote?
Often not. RedSpider’s guide says domain, hosting, SSL, paid plugins and third-party software are usually billed separately, and it lists maintenance from AED 300 to AED 2,000 a month depending on the level of support. Ask for these costs in writing before you compare quotes.
Why do website quotes in Dubai vary so much?
Agencies are often pricing different work under the same label. The number of unique layouts, the depth of UX planning, custom versus template design, Arabic support, integrations and post-launch support all change the price, so compare scope line by line before comparing totals.
