SEO in Dubai is almost always sold as a monthly retainer, and published prices run from about AED 1,500 a month for basic local work to AED 35,000 or more for enterprise campaigns. Here is what the market publishes, what each tier buys, and how to tell a real package from a cheap one.

We do SEO for Dubai businesses, so we see a lot of competing proposals. This guide does not list our prices. It brings together the ranges other Dubai agencies and guides publish, explains why they disagree, and gives you a way to compare quotes on substance rather than on the monthly number alone.

The short answer

Across the guides we reviewed, basic or local SEO for a single location sits at AED 1,500 to AED 3,500 a month. Standard packages for SMEs mostly fall between AED 3,000 and AED 8,000, and Insights Dubai calls AED 5,000 to AED 8,500 the realistic budget for a standard package in 2026. Competitive sectors such as real estate, healthcare, finance and e-commerce sit at roughly AED 8,000 to AED 15,000 or more. Enterprise and international campaigns run from AED 15,000 to AED 35,000+, and one guide lists international SEO up to AED 50,000 a month.

Why the sources disagree on tiers

The tier names look similar, but the boundaries do not. BrandSurge says AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 is the entry level for real SEO in Dubai and that below AED 3,000 you are not getting real SEO. Insights Dubai and Hikmah AI Agency both start their basic tier at AED 1,500. 2Marketing’s standard tier runs to AED 12,000, while Hikmah’s standard tier stops at AED 7,000 and calls anything above that premium.

The difference is mostly scope: how many pages are optimised, how much content is written, whether links are built, and how many languages are covered. Treat a tier name as a label and compare the deliverables underneath it.

What each tier typically includes

Basic or local

Google Business Profile optimisation, a limited keyword set, basic on-page fixes and a simple monthly report, according to 2Marketing. BrandSurge’s starter description adds a technical audit with fixes, optimisation of 5 to 10 core pages and 2 to 3 content pieces a month. If you are a single-location business, our guide to local SEO in Dubai explains what matters most at this level.

Standard or growth

An expanded keyword set, regular content, ongoing technical SEO and link building. BrandSurge describes 4 to 8 content pieces a month, a UAE-focused link building campaign, competitor analysis and conversion tracking at this level.

Competitive or premium

A dedicated strategist, bilingual English and Arabic content, digital PR and stronger link building, and analytics tied to leads. This is the band that real estate, healthcare and finance businesses usually land in, because they compete with well-funded sites for expensive keywords.

Enterprise

Large sites, several languages, international targeting and more senior strategy time. Hikmah AI Agency describes multi-language SEO, international targeting and a dedicated strategist in its top tier.

AI search and GEO: a newer line item

Search now includes AI answers as well as blue links. Google’s AI Overviews summarise answers above the results, and people ask assistants such as ChatGPT for recommendations. Hikmah AI Agency notes that content written to be cited in these answers needs clearer, more structured writing, which pushes content costs up slightly. 2Marketing makes a similar point about structure and topical authority.

Some providers now price AI search as its own service. Drivix, for example, lists AI search on its pricing page from AED 1,499 a month. Others fold it into the SEO retainer. Ask which approach a proposal takes and how AI visibility will be tracked. Our AI SEO and GEO service and our article on getting cited by AI explain what the work involves.

What drives SEO cost in Dubai

  • Competition in your sector. Real estate, finance, insurance, cosmetic surgery and luxury keywords take sustained work to rank for.
  • Languages. 2Marketing says running English and Arabic SEO together can double both workload and cost.
  • Locations. Each extra emirate or neighbourhood adds pages, keywords and local signals.
  • Website condition. A slow or poorly structured site needs technical clean-up before growth starts, and that time is billed.
  • Content volume. The number of pages and articles written each month is often the biggest single cost inside a retainer.
  • Link building approach. Editorial outreach and digital PR cost more than directory links because they take real work.

Healthcare sits in the competitive band in most of these guides. Medical content also needs careful review, which we cover in medical SEO in Dubai.

Red flags in very cheap SEO offers

  • Packages at AED 500 to AED 1,500 a month. BrandSurge estimates that, after overhead, an agency can spend only 2 to 3 hours a month on your account at that price.
  • “Full SEO services” for under AED 800 a month, which Hikmah AI Agency lists as a red flag.
  • Guaranteed page-one rankings, especially within weeks.
  • Thousands of backlinks for a low flat fee.
  • No content creation in the scope.
  • No access to your own Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Reports that show keyword positions but never calls, forms or sales.

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. What exactly will you deliver each month: pages optimised, content published, links earned?
  2. Who does the work, and how senior are they?
  3. Is Arabic content included, and who writes it?
  4. Is Google Business Profile management included for each location?
  5. Can I see every link you build?
  6. Will I have admin access to Search Console and Analytics from day one?
  7. How will you report results: rankings only, or leads and enquiries too?
  8. Is AI search visibility part of the scope or an add-on?
  9. What is the minimum term, and what notice do I need to give?
  10. Who owns the content and pages if we stop working together?

How to compare SEO quotes

Write the deliverables of each quote side by side for the same six-month period. Divide each monthly fee by what it actually produces, such as pages, articles and links, and check the languages covered. Two proposals at the same price can deliver very different amounts of work, and a higher fee can be better value if it includes content and links the cheaper one leaves out.

Ask each agency for a sample monthly report. If the report only shows rankings, you will struggle to judge return. If SEO is one part of a bigger plan, our digital marketing agency cost guide shows how full retainers are priced.

Frequently asked questions

How much does SEO cost per month in Dubai?

Published Dubai guides put basic local SEO at about AED 1,500 to AED 3,500 a month, standard SME packages mostly at AED 3,000 to AED 8,000, competitive sectors at AED 8,000 to AED 15,000 or more, and enterprise campaigns at AED 15,000 to AED 35,000 or more.

How much do local SEO packages in Dubai cost?

For a single location, published ranges start around AED 1,500 a month and run to AED 3,500, with Global Media Insight listing local SEO up to AED 5,000 depending on competition and the number of locations. A one-off local set-up of Google Business Profile and citations is listed by Hikmah AI Agency at AED 1,500 to AED 3,500.

Why does SEO for clinics and real estate cost more?

These sectors compete for expensive keywords against well-funded websites, so they need more content, stronger links and more careful technical work. BrandSurge places real estate, healthcare, finance and e-commerce in its AED 10,000 to AED 15,000+ tier, and 2Marketing lists healthcare and medical SEO at AED 8,000 to AED 20,000.

Is a cheap SEO package ever worth it?

A low budget can work for a single location in a quiet niche if the scope is honest and focused, for example Google Business Profile and a few core pages. Packages promising full SEO for a few hundred dirhams a month rarely include enough hours for content or links, so check the deliverables before you sign.

Is AI search optimisation included in SEO pricing?

It depends on the provider. Some include AI search visibility in the retainer, while others price it as a separate monthly service. Ask whether the proposal covers structured content for AI answers and how AI visibility will be measured.
