Published guides put a digital marketing agency in Dubai at roughly AED 3,000 to AED 20,000 a month for most businesses, with enterprise retainers from AED 40,000 to more than AED 150,000. Ad spend is almost always on top. This guide explains the ranges, the pricing models and how to compare quotes fairly.
We are a full-service agency with a studio in Dubai, so we know how hard it is to compare proposals that use different models, scopes and labels. This page does not show our prices. It collects what other Dubai agencies and guides publish, so you can see what the market charges before you talk to anyone, including us.

How Dubai agencies charge: the main pricing models
Monthly retainer
A fixed monthly fee for an agreed scope. Apptunix calls it the most common model for full-service agencies. Branex says most retainers start with a 3 to 6 month commitment and then roll monthly, and that extra requests outside the scope are often billed at an hourly rate. Retainers suit ongoing work such as SEO, social media and content.
Project fee
A one-off price for a defined piece of work: a website, a brand identity, an audit or a launch campaign. Good when the deliverable is clear. Watch for set-up fees that are charged again when the team changes.
Percentage of ad spend
The management fee rises and falls with your media budget. Branex describes fees of up to 10 to 15 percent of the ad budget and says this model is more common for budgets over AED 30,000 a month, while flat fees are more common below AED 20,000. Dtechunt puts the percentage at 10 to 20 percent for larger accounts. The catch: the agency earns more when you spend more, whatever the results.
Hourly
Used mostly by freelancers and consultants for audits and advice. Predictable for small tasks, expensive for ongoing work.
Hybrid or performance-based
A lower base fee plus a bonus tied to leads, sales or return on ad spend. It only works when tracking is reliable and both sides agree in writing on what counts as a lead.
Big AL Consulting’s guide makes a useful point that applies to every model: split every budget into media, paid to the ad platforms, and fees, paid to whoever runs the work, and keep those apart in every quote. As one published example, Big AL lists its own management fees from AED 7,000 a month for a focused account, with ad spend paid separately.
What drives the cost of a digital marketing agency
- Number of channels. Running SEO, ads, social and email together costs more than doing one channel well.
- Content production. Filmed reels and photography cost more than template graphics; our content production page explains what goes into a shoot.
- Languages. Native English and Arabic content is listed as an add-on or an enterprise feature in these guides.
- Industry competition. Apptunix names finance, real estate and e-commerce as sectors that demand more aggressive campaigns, and the SEO guides add healthcare to that list.
- Seniority. A senior strategist on your account costs more than a junior executive.
- Ad budget size. Larger budgets need more testing, creative and reporting, and change which fee model makes sense.
Marketing for clinics: what is different
Clinics usually sit at the higher end of these ranges. BrandSurge places healthcare in its AED 10,000 to AED 15,000+ SEO tier, and DHA rules add a Medical Director approval step to every post that names the facility, which affects content calendars and timelines. We break down clinic-specific costs, from websites to reels, in how much medical marketing costs in Dubai, and our healthcare marketing page explains how we work with clinics.
Red flags in very cheap agency offers
- A single low monthly price for “everything” with no list of deliverables.
- Ad spend bundled into the fee, so you cannot see what the platforms actually received.
- Ad accounts, pixels or analytics owned by the agency rather than your business.
- Guaranteed results before anyone has looked at your data.
- Reports that focus on impressions and likes but never on leads or sales.
- Long lock-in contracts with no exit terms tied to performance.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Which channels are included, and what does adding one cost?
- Who will run the account day to day, and how senior are they?
- How many original videos, posts, articles and campaigns are included each month?
- Is ad spend billed by the platforms directly to us, or through you?
- Are the ad accounts, pixels, analytics and social pages in our name with full admin access?
- Is there a set-up fee, and what does it cover?
- Is Arabic content included?
- What will the monthly report show, and is it tied to leads or sales?
- What is the minimum term and notice period?
- What happens to our accounts, content and data if we leave?
How to compare agency quotes
First, separate media from fees in every quote. Second, list the deliverables per month on the same rows: channels, content pieces, filmed videos, SEO pages and articles, campaigns, reporting and strategy time. Third, add any set-up fees and spread them over the minimum term. Only then compare the monthly numbers.
A cheaper retainer that covers one channel is not cheaper than a higher one covering three, and a percentage-of-spend fee can overtake a flat fee quickly as budgets grow. You can see everything we offer on our services page.

Frequently asked questions
How much does digital marketing cost in Dubai?
Published Dubai guides put typical agency fees at about AED 3,000 to AED 20,000 a month, with enterprise retainers from AED 40,000 to more than AED 150,000. Advertising budget paid to Google, Meta or TikTok is usually on top of the agency fee.
What do digital marketing packages in Dubai usually include?
Starter packages usually cover one or two social platforms with simple content and reporting. Growth packages add SEO, paid ads management, regular video shoots and an account manager. Enterprise packages cover every channel with bilingual content and senior strategy time.
Is ad spend included in a marketing agency’s price?
Almost never. The agency fee pays for strategy, content and management, while ad spend goes to the platforms. Ask for the two on separate lines and keep the ad accounts in your own name.
Is a percentage of ad spend or a flat fee better?
A flat fee suits a stable scope and gives predictable costs. A percentage of spend suits budgets that change a lot, but it pays the agency more when you spend more, regardless of results. Branex says flat fees are more common for budgets under AED 20,000 a month.
Why are some agencies so much cheaper than others?
They are usually pricing a smaller scope, fewer channels, less original content or more junior staff. Compare the deliverables line by line before you compare totals.
